Policies

Cancellation Policy
Reservations are made with your credit card.

Lakeside Resort and Education Complex is a subsidiary of Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency, a government non-profit community action group. Lakeside is a training facility that assists in a higher learning certificate program. Cancellation of any reservation will result in a 5% processing fee of the total reservation charges. Within 7 days of your arrival, a 25% cancellation fee of the total reservation charges will be charged to your credit card. Cancellation on date of check-in results in a 100% charge of your reservation. Weather and other acts of God do not constitute cancellation or refund.

Sales Tax
A state and local sales tax of 13.5% is applied to all lodging, rentals and food services.

Pet Policy
Pets are only allowed in our Budget cabins. Outside pets should be on a leash for the safety and comfort of all guest. A fine of $100.00 will be charged to guests if a pet or evidence of a pet is found in guesthouses, cottages or the lodge.

Smoking Policy

Designated smoking areas on the porch or deck of every house, cottage or lodge unit.

Guidelines

Lakeside facilities are for the use of registered guests, members, students and staff only.

The speed limit throughout the resort is 10 mph. We request that guests use their parking permits at all times. Also, please park in designated parking places only. (Do not block the road into the dock/ramp area.)

All boats should be registered at the office. A designated slip will be assigned.

Outdoor fires are allowed only in provided grill facilities. Absolutely no grills are allowed on lodge decks.

Firearms are not allowed in any capacity.

Use of the Lakeside Resort area is subject to all applicable federal, state & local laws.

We ask that furniture not be moved or rearranged.

Charges will be added to your bill for any and all damages to your unit upon check-out as well as failure to return your key(s) or satellite access cards(s).

No motorbikes, personal golf carts and/or 3 or 4 wheelers allowed on the premises.

Please leave dishes washed and put away.

For the convenience of our guest, we provide garbage pick up daily at 9:00 a.m. Please place garbage in plastic garbage bags and place outside the house/cabin door or on the lodge deck.


Privacy Statement
This site offers an opt-in e-mail newsletter. Users must specifically request to have their e-mail address added to our mailing list. Users e-mail addresses will not be shared with third parties under any circumstance. We will not use your e-mail address to send you any other information other than the newsletters mentioned. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings by sending an email and asking to be removed from the e-mail newsletter list.

Our site uses a form for customers to request reservation information and for general questions and comments. We collect visitor's contact information (like their e-mail address). Contact information from the reservation request form is used to help in booking an appropriate cabin for our customers and then discarded. Contact information from our contact form is used only to reply to comments and questions from customers. We will not use your e-mail address or other contact information obtained from any form for any other purpose.
